Traditional copper cables face limitations in bandwidth, transmission distance, power consumption, and signal integrity at
ultra-high speeds. As a result, AI data centers increasingly rely on fiber optic communication.
Optical transceivers convert electrical signals from servers and switches into optical signals for transmission through fiber,
then convert them back into electrical signals at the receiving end. With the adoption of 400G, 800G, and even 1.6T
networks, high-speed optical transceivers have become essential for building scalable AI infrastructure.
